Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) switch off the power supply when dangerously high fault currents occur. They thus protect persons, animals and installations. DFS 4 are two- or four-pole residual current circuit breakers for single- or three-phase mains. In the standard version, the compact devices are four pitch units narrow. They are available with many different residual current types and designs at rated currents up to 125 A. The large double-level terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The tripped position of the multi-function switching toggle facilitates troubleshooting. The free label software helps with labelling. Type B+ residual-current circuit-breakers are all-current sensitive. They protect against pulsating and alternating residual currents, residual currents with mixed frequencies and smooth DC residual currents. They detect residual currents of all frequencies up to 20 kHz without gaps at a maximum tripping threshold of 420 mA. The switches thus offer a high level of fire protection. Devices in standard design are designed for monitoring circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V/400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
