Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) switch off the power supply if dangerously high residual currents occur. They thus protect people, animals and systems. DFS 4 are two- or four-pole residual current circuit-breakers for single-phase or three-phase networks. In the standard version, the compact devices are four units wide. They are available with many different residual current types and versions with rated currents of up to 125 A. The large double-deck terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The trigger position of the multifunctional switch toggle facilitates troubleshooting. The free labelling software helps with labelling. Type A switches are pulse and AC current sensitive. This function is independent of the mains voltage. EV switches are designed for use in charging systems for electric vehicles. They have an additional function for detecting smooth DC residual currents >= 6 mA. They thus protect upstream type A or F residual current circuit-breakers against malfunctions. Features: mains voltage-dependent additional function for detecting smooth DC residual currents Tripping threshold of 6 mA for smooth DC residual currents LED display for operation Additional function No additional wiring required VDE Mains and auxiliary voltage-independent tripping Sensitive to AC and pulsating DC residual currents (type A or F) and pulsating DC residual currents (type A) Small size for all rated currents High short-circuit resistance Double-sided double-deck terminals for large conductor cross-section and busbar connection Switching position indicator Window for labelling Multifunction switch toggle with three positions: "on", "off", "tripped" Connection C1 neutral conductor position left Mounting type: Quick fastening on mounting rail Any installation position Any feed direction Areas of application: These RCCBs are intended exclusively for use in facilities for charging electric vehicles They cannot be used to protect systems in which electronic equipment can cause residual currents with frequencies not equal to 50 Hz. Type B or B+ AC/DC sensitive residual current circuit-breakers must be used here.
