Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) switch off the power supply when dangerously high fault currents occur. They thus protect persons, animals and installations. DFS 4 are two- or four-pole residual current circuit breakers for single- or three-phase mains. In the standard version, the compact devices are four pitch units narrow. They are available with many different residual current types and designs at rated currents up to 125 A. The large double-level terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The tripped position of the multi-function switching toggle facilitates troubleshooting. The free labelling software helps with labelling. Type B switches are universal current sensitive at frequencies from 0 Hz (smooth DC residual currents) to 150 kHz. They are increased surge current and thunderstorm resistant. Residual current circuit-breakers of the SK series stand for residual current protection and high system availability. They are characterised by a lower response sensitivity at higher frequencies. The SK characteristic is optimised for systems in which no fire protection is required. Units in standard version are designed for monitoring circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V/400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
