How a hydraulic separator works:
Hydraulic separators are used when one or more heat generator circuits (with their own pump) and one or more consumer circuits (with their own distribution pump) are operated in a system.
Under such operating conditions, the pumps can influence each other, which can lead to unwanted changes in flow rate and delivery head. By using hydraulic separators, the individual circuits are hydraulically decoupled from each other so that they can be operated independently of each other.
