The required flow rate of the individual radiators is set directly on the Eclipse thermostatic valve body. This means that the hydraulic balancing is done with a twist. The set flow rate is not exceeded. This means that even if there is an oversupply, e.g. due to closing neighbouring valves or during the morning heat-up phase, Eclipse automatically regulates the flow to the set value. The valve regulates the flow independently of the differential pressure. Complex calculations to determine the setting values are therefore not necessary.
