System 3000 electronic switch insert Features: Connection of extension units possible. Control of thermal actuators in combination with a room temperature controller top unit. Gentle switching on of lamps. Electronic short-circuit protection. Electronic overtemperature protection. Operation with and without neutral conductor connection. Operation with neutral conductor: Switching of incandescent lamps, HV halogen lamps, electronic or inductive transformers with halogen or LED lamps, switchable or dimmable HV LED or compact fluorescent lamps. Unit is supplied via phase conductor and neutral conductor, therefore there is no phase angle or phase cut. Operation without neutral conductor: Switching of incandescent lamps, HV halogen lamps, electronic or inductive transformers with halogen or LED lamps, dimmable HV LED or compact fluorescent lamps. Unit supplies itself via the phase conductor and the connected load and therefore operates on the phase-angle or phase-angle principle. Automatic or manual setting of the dimming principle suitable for the load (leading or trailing edge). Display of the set operating mode by means of LED. Combination with KNX RF operating top unit 1gang 2gang: Switch actuator channel 1gang or heating actuator 1gang. Sensor channel 1-gang or 2-gang. Local control of System 3000 insert possible. Radio control of other KNX devices as sensor possible. Temperature detection Function selection of the insert for switching: N.O. - N.C. operation, staircase function, scene function, locking function, time delays. Extension input as additional operating point for the System 3000 insert or for radio control of other KNX devices as sensor possible. Function selection of the insert for room temperature controller: Control of 230 V actuators, heating, cooling mode, heating and cooling mode, PWM and 2-point controller, absolute and relative setpoint setting, heat demand control incl. cascading, valve protection function. Extension input possible as additional operating point for System 3000 use or for radio control of other KNX devices as sensor. Alternatively, the extension input can be parameterised for switching between heating and cooling mode. Notes : When operating without a neutral conductor, the minimum load for incandescent lamps, HV halogens, Tronic transformers and wound transformers increases to 50 W. If the ambient temperature is higher than 25 C, the connected load must be reduced.
