Automatic or manual setting of the dimming principle suitable for the load (leading or trailing edge). Indication of the set operating mode by means of LED. Gentle switching on of lamps. Switch-on brightness can be stored permanently. Switch-on with last set brightness or stored switch-on brightness. Minimum brightness adjustable. Electronic short-circuit protection. Electronic overtemperature protection. Operation with and without neutral conductor connection. Touch dimmer. Combination with KNX RF operating top unit 1-gang 2-gang: Dimming actuator channel 1-gang. Sensor channel 1-gang or 2-gang. Local control of System 3000 insert possible. Radio control of other KNX devices as sensor possible. Function selection of the insert: Dimming principle adjustable, staircase function, scene function, locking function, time delays. Notes : In principle, the dimmer can be operated without connecting the neutral conductor, however, some LED and CFLi light sources make the neutral conductor connection necessary to avoid flickering. When operating without a neutral conductor, the minimum load for incandescent lamps, HV halogens, Tronic transformers and wound transformers increases to 50 W. Electronic transformers and ballasts for LED lamps can be operated in the dimming mode specified by the manufacturer. If the ambient temperature is higher than 25 C, the connected load must be reduced.
