Energy consumption indicator with display - smart metering for mounting rail. Stand-by loss only 0.5 Watt. The energy consumption display measures the active energy like an AC meter on the basis of the current flowing between the input and output and stores the consumption in non-volatile memory. Like all meters without MID declaration of conformity, not approved for monetary electricity billing in Europe. As with all Eltako AC meters, the accuracy corresponds to class B with MID (1%), the starting current is 20mA. Thus the energy consumption display exactly reproduces the measurement of the meter installed elsewhere in the building for electricity billing. The display screen is divided into 3 fields. Total reset: In order to start saving the values accurately to the hour, a total reset is recommended at a convenient time after installation. To do this, press the MODE and SELECT buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until RES appears in field 1. If SELECT is now pressed briefly, all memories are set to zero. The programme then automatically returns to the normal display.
