As infrared heating, the ceiling heating element is used stationary for heating closed rooms in the living and working environment. The ceiling infrared heater of the VH series is suitable for surface mounting on the ceiling or suspended from cables. The Vitramo VH06262 infrared heater is also the right grid ceiling heater for suspended modular ceilings or grid ceilings (so-called Odenwald ceilings) and is suitable for insertion into a system ceiling with an axial dimension of 625 mm. The common dimension of the system ceiling in Germany is 625 x 625 mm. Internationally, 600 x 600 mm are common (price of the VH06060 suitable for this on request). The effective yet small-format Vitramo ceiling heating element heats walls enclosing the room in a radiation-oriented manner and the floor in such a differentiated manner that these show only slight temperature differences between each other. Only when they come into contact with the warm surfaces does the room air heat up evenly and almost without flow. In this way, the prerequisites for living comfort are achieved without unnecessary energy input. The ceiling-mounted infrared heater of the VH series is produced in sandwich construction. It consists of a single-pane safety glass pane (ESG pane of white glass, low-iron oxide, satin finish, 5 mm thick, standard surface colour white similar to RAL 9010), which is heated on the back by a heating layer that converts electrical energy into heat. This layer is glass fibre reinforced and embedded in a plastic compound. The rear side is highly effectively thermally insulated and completed by an aluminium cover that also encloses the sides. Surface temperature max. 190 °C at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. Due to the highly effective insulation on the rear side, ceiling heating elements achieve a very high radiation efficiency in the room. For mains connection, the heating elements are fitted with a plug on the unit cover to match the connection socket supplied loose. For operation as a fixed individual room heater, an additional room thermostat with weekly programming and detection of open windows and/or adaptive control of the start of heating and/or remote control option (outside the building) is required. The Vitramo room thermostat VTD-UP and those of the VTX series control Vitramo ceiling and wall heating elements in compliance with the Ecodesign. Vitramo heating elements may only be installed by a professional. Vitramo is a leading manufacturer and produces wall and ceiling infrared heaters exclusively in Germany.
