The RS100 io Solar kit is the perfect solution for motorizing roller shutters when there is no power connection available or when using solar energy is preferred. The kit includes a powerful DC motor with integrated radio receiver, a battery, and a solar panel. When combined with the TaHoma smart home hub, the solar panel can also be used as a sun sensor. Reliable operation throughout the year (at least 2 cycles per day) is guaranteed. The kit can be conveniently operated with a Somfy io remote or the TaHoma 3.0 end-user app. It can also be used for large roller shutters (from 3 to 20 Nm). The direction of rotation is automatically detected and the end positions can be set automatically or fixed. The plug & play installation is quick, clean, and error-proof.
