The wind deflector plate was specially developed for the Süd system and, thanks to its optimised aerodynamics, significantly reduces the amount of ballast required. It is installed at an angle of 60° using the universal clamp. This innovative solution not only saves time, but also protects the roof structure, as no sheet metal screws are used that could damage the roof membrane. Made of galvanised steel with a length of 2595 mm, a width of 2220 mm and a height of 15 mm, the wind deflector plate is durable and stable. It enables the solar installer to assemble it quickly and ensures an efficient and aesthetically pleasing overall system. By reducing the ballast, the load-bearing structure and load-bearing capacity of the roof are relieved – a perfect solution for sustainable and roof-friendly PV systems.
