Resideo filter combination Primus-Plus
In the filter combinations of type FK74CS, a backwashable fine filter and pressure reducer are integrated in one device. They ensure an uninterrupted supply of filtered drinking water, even during the backwashing process. The stainless steel fine filter prevents foreign particles, such as rust particles, hemp residues and grains of sand, from being flushed in, thus reducing the likelihood of corrosion. The pressure reducer prevents pressure damage and reduces water consumption. The filter combinations are especially suitable for installation in domestic water systems where a pressure reducer is required. Installation in horizontal and vertical pipes is possible.
The drain connection complies with EN 1717. With integrated pressure gauge (0-16 bar) and memory ring to indicate the next due backwash. Both are located in the upper area of the filter, are easily accessible and easy to read. The backwash lever can be easily removed without tools and replaced by an optional automatic backwash system. The complete valve insert with diaphragm and valve seat can be replaced for servicing purposes. The outlet pressure can be set using the adjustment handle on the spring cover. The scope of delivery includes a double ring spanner for removing the filter bowl and the spring cap as well as the connection piece that can be used horizontally or vertically.
The connection piece is made of UBA-compliant lead-free brass (Ecobrass). The transparent filter cup made of impact-resistant plastic allows easy monitoring of filter contamination. It is coloured slightly blue to protect against UV radiation. The seals are made of EPDM and the diaphragm of the valve insert is made of fabric-reinforced elastomer. All materials are lead-free with a lead content of less than 0.1%. All materials are approved by the ACS and fulfil the KTW requirements for drinking water. The filter combination has DVGW approval and is classified by TÜV LGA as low-noise, group 1 without restrictions.
The filter insert is completely interchangeable and can be replaced with other filter elements if required.
