The Aquastate L4188/L6188 and L4191/L6191 are fast-acting immersion temperature controllers and are mainly used as temperature controllers, monitors and limiters for hot water central heating boilers and domestic water heaters.

While the L4188/L6188 models are single controllers, the L4191/L6191 double thermostats consist of two independently operating devices (controller and monitor or limiter) in a common housing with a shared immersion sleeve.

The Aquastate L4188/L6188 and L4191/L6191 comply with the following EC directives:
