Resideo 6-zone FBH controller
The HCE20 is a wired
underfloor heating controller for heating and
cooling. It can control up to six
different temperature zones/rooms
. The temperature of the
individual zones/rooms is controlled by the
OpenTherm(R) room thermostats T4M or
T87M. With the T4M as the thermostat for
zone 1, it is also possible to set the other
zones to an energy-saving
temperature (ECO function).
If, for example, the programme of the
T4M switches to night mode,
the
temperature is also lowered in the other zones. The
T4M can also act as a thermostat for zone 1 for
switching from heating to cooling and
vice versa. The heat requirement of all
zones is converted into the
general heat requirement using a fuzzy
logic control algorithm.
A heat generator with on/off or
OpenTherm(R) communication can be controlled via
the various outlets
. An integrated pump relay
ensures that the pump starts up
when heat is requested from one of the zones
. If required, an
external and a flow
temperature sensor can be connected to control the
heat generator using the
weather-compensated flow control
. The cooling function
can easily be added via an
extension module.
This module has a
cooling demand output and an input
for switching between heating and
cooling to change the controller status
(external switch). In addition,
has a separate output for heating and
cooling, which controls the valves in
the supply lines. The
controller HCE20 can be mounted directly on the wall with 4 mounting holes
or on
a standard DIN rail
