The fire protection tape type CL-KS is used inside buildings as cable bulkheading for single cables, cable and electrical installation pipe bundles (EIR). The material foams up in case of fire and is used to seal off fire compartments for a maximum duration of 90 minutes. The bulkheading consists of a flexible bandage which is fixed by means of wire. The cable penetration seal can be installed quickly and easily. When wrapping the cables, it is important to note how often the respective medium must be wrapped (cable bundles and rigid EIR at least 2-ply and flexible EIR at least 3-ply). Details can be found in the approval. The bandage can be used at zero distance to pipe penetration seals made by Rockwool.
