The ego is a heat recovery unit that is primarily intended for functional rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. Operation in pairs is not necessary, as the ego independently provides supply and extract air with heat recovery. During peak loads, for example in the evening, it also has an exhaust air mode to remove odours and moisture in the shortest possible time. In the ego, two fans always work in opposite directions and simultaneously supply and extract air. The storage block sits in the centre of the air flow of two ec motors. The reversing air flow, which is created by the targeted change of direction of the fans, charges the ceramic with the thermal energy of the room air and releases it again to the incoming outside air.
