Cable conduit seal for conduit inner diameter 125-180 mm (-210 mm with extension component RDSS-AD-210). System with sealing sleeve and sealing star. Flexible plastic laminate bag coated on both sides with sealing strips. Watertight sealing of power cables in plastic pipes, metal pipes and cement pipes as well as in core drill holes. Patented gel valve prevents pressure loss and ensures permanent tightness of the system. Easy to dismantle. A round, smooth-walled inner surface is required. When used in installation pipes, a pressure resistance of at least 3 bar must be ensured. The watertightness was tested under an applied pressure of 0.3 bar when the cables were subjected to vibration, bending, torsion, tension and shear. The resistance to chemicals and bacteria was also tested. Load cycle tests with conductor temperatures of up to 90 °C were carried out in accordance with VDE 0278 Part 1. An average service life of 30 years was determined by measuring and calculating the diffusion rate. The sealing behaviour after 30 years was simulated and confirmed by leakage tests with reduced internal pressure.
