With the help of the RevPi Gates, the RevPi system can be connected to various industrial networks. Just like the other expansion modules, these gateways are connected to the base module via the system connector on top. Up to two gateways can be connected per base module. The cyclic data exchange between the gateway and the central process image of the RevPi Core 3 or RevPi Connect takes place every 5 ms, regardless of the bus protocol and the system configuration.
