KITCHEN PROTECTION KA AND KAG
Protection for commercial kitchens
The kitchen protection KA is a
complete system for protecting the gas supply
in case of failure of the ventilation system, power failure, filter contamination
or insufficient air supply.

The gas supply is only released if the exhaust air system is operating properly
and if there is sufficient supply air (optional). The system is suitable for all
fuel gases according to worksheet G 260.
A
thermally triggering element is integrated in the manual shut-off in the inlet (1). This
provides increased fire safety.

The automatic and safe shut-off of the gas supply is ensured by a normally closed double
valve combination (2). The exhaust air system
is monitored by a differential pressure switch (4).

The mounting brackets for secure attachment to the exhaust air system as well as a hose connection set for various
connection options to the exhaust air system to be monitored
are part of the system.
The system offers connection options for a
further air pressure monitor for filter monitoring (6),
external switches for supply air (7) and emergency stop buttons (5).
The exhaust air system can be switched on manually or automatically requested via
an integrated potential-free contact

The safety control SKK (3)
in plastic design is intended for surface mounting. A central main switch
with VDE marking is integrated in the control -
unit. Operation is via the
easy-to-clean membrane keypad.
Fault and operation messages supplement the control system. The
control system complies with the required fault
safety according to DIN EN 13611 regulation and control -
function class B. After 24 hours of continuous operation
