Resideo BasicMes-2 measuring device
The BasicMes-2 is a measuring device for flow measurements in temperature-transmitting heating and cooling systems.
The BasicMes-2 measures the differential pressure across an opening, for example a valve seat. Together with the kv value of the opening, the flow rate is calculated using the kv formula. The kv value of all Resideo equalising valves and some common valves from other manufacturers are stored in an internal database
. It is also possible to enter the kv value manually.
In addition to differential pressure and flow measurement, the BasicMes-2 has the following functions:
- Two temperature sensor inputs for simultaneous (with two sensors) or consecutive (with one sensor) temperature measurements
- Data logging function with programmable interval and period
- Leak test with programmable test pressure and period
- Memory for saving the measured values
- PC connection option, to transfer the measured data from the device to a PC using PC application software
- Printout function in combination with an optional pocket printer (accessory)
