Resideo straight-way zone valve VC
The pressure-relieved zone valves with two-point actuator in the VC series are used in residential buildings and small industrial applications to control the flow of hot and/or cold water. They consist of an actuator, a connection cable and a valve with a replaceable valve insert.
The two-way valves are designed for on/off zone control of systems in residential buildings. The three-way valves are used to switch volume flows in central heating and/or cooling applications in residential buildings and can be installed either as a distribution or mixing valve.
Both versions are suitable for the individual control of fan heaters, radiators, room heaters or convectors. Thanks to their special design, they operate quietly and reduce the risk of pressure surges in the pipework. The pressure-balanced design of the valve insert allows differential pressures of up to 4 bar. With two-way valves, the flow direction can be freely selected. Three-way valves are suitable for switching the water flow from direction AB to A or B as well as from direction A or B to AB.
The functionality of the actuator depends on the selected actuator model. There are variants for 24 V and for 230 V with control via a normally open contact (SPST) or a changeover contact (SPDT). The actuators are equipped with an end position cut-off so that power is only consumed when the position is changed. The actuators have a bayonet lock and can be fitted to or removed from the valve without tools. Without an actuator, the two-way valve is closed and the three-way valve is in the AB - B open position.
