This flame monitoring device is connected to a Satronic automatic oil burner control unit. The monitoring function is based on the infrared flicker principle, i.e. only the infrared flicker light of the flame is detected. The constant light radiation from any glowing brick lining of the boiler, for example, has no influence. The IRD 1010.1 replaces the IRD 1010, 910, 911 and 911 vi types. When replacing the IRD 1010, care must be taken to ensure that a type-corresponding IRD 1010.1 (blue, red, white) is used (see pages 3 and 4). When replacing the IRD 910, 911 and 911 vi, ensure correct connection (see page 3). To replace the IRD 910, 911 and 911 vi with the IRD 1010.1, the sensor cable is also required.
