The combination of the bus coupler 3 and an application module results in a functional unit. In the ETS project, this unit is projected in the form of the application program of the application module. A remote temperature sensor can additionally be connected to the bus coupler 3 with external sensor. A room temperature controller can thus record the temperature at an additional measuring point.
