The Correx impressed current anode was developed for the cathodic corrosion protection of storage tanks. In contrast to magnesium anodes with a limited service life, the impressed current anode is maintenance-free. The intelligent, electronic circuit, which automatically adjusts the required protective current potentiostatically to the current protective current requirement of the storage tank, allows the impressed current anode to be used regardless of the water quality. The impressed current anode set consists of a titanium electrode, which is installed in the storage tank, and a potentiostat, which is connected to the titanium electrode and storage tank with a connecting cable.
