Motor isolating relay. Stand-by loss only 0.5 Watt. 1 division unit. The tubular motors of shading elements and roller shutters must not be connected directly in parallel under any circumstances, as this would lead to reverse voltages via the limit switches and ultimately to the destruction of the motors. For one motor and if the control voltage and motor voltage are 230V, one EGS12Z-UC is sufficient. However, if more than one motor is to be controlled with one EGS12Z-UC or if the control voltage is unequal, one MTR12-UC must be connected for every two motors. The MTR12-UCs can be operated in parallel, but require free contact outputs K2/K3 of the controlling EGS12Z-UC. These are connected to the terminals K2/K3 of the MTR12-UC. 1/2 = motor 1, 3/4 = motor 2. With a rotary switch the functions up or down can be blocked and can be switched off completely. This lock only applies to the max. 2 connected motors. This allows individual shading elements or roller shutters to be completely or partially excluded from the automatic function of an overall control.
