-float switches are switching devices that are used to detect the limit level of liquids. The devices trigger switching commands at previously defined fill levels and are therefore able to control filling and emptying pumps, for example, depending on the fill level or trigger an alarm at certain liquid levels. The devices in the Champ series are optionally equipped with a NO contact or changeover contact and can therefore monitor up to two different limit levels. As the fill level in the tank rises or falls, the position of the float changes so that the contacts open or close at a definable fill level. An optionally available, movable weight on the float cable allows a corresponding float position to be set for each liquid level.
