RCBOs combine residual current circuit breakers and miniature circuit breakers in one device (FI/LS combination). They protect people from residual currents and systems from short circuits and overloads. The switches of the DRCBO 3 series function independently of the mains voltage and are characterised by a high rated breaking capacity. Separate displays provide a quick overview of the current operating status. DRCBO 3 can be easily installed and removed. Type A switches are pulse and AC current sensitive. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Switches with tripping characteristic C are optimised for circuits with high inrush or peak currents. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Features: auxiliary voltage-independent tripping sensitive for AC and pulsating DC residual currents (type A) small size for all rated currents high short-circuit strength green-red contact position indicator residual current trip indicator clamping yoke terminals with rear-mounted protection and wide clamping cross-section range for rail and line wiring on both connection sides neutral conductor on the right tristable latching sliders for easy installation and removal Mounting method: Quick-fixing on mounting rail Mounting position any Feeding any Areas of application: Protection of circuits in residential and functional buildings as well as industrial plants with TN-S, TT and TN-C-S networks. In IT systems, RCDs can be provided for disconnection in the event of a second earth fault Excluded for use in systems with TN-C systems and for protecting circuits in which power electronics equipment can cause smooth DC residual currents or residual currents with frequencies not equal to 50/60 Hz.
