The Correx external current anode was developed for the cathodic corrosion protection of storage tanks. In contrast to the magnesium anode with its limited service life, the impressed current anode operates maintenance-free. The intelligent electronic circuit, which independently adjusts the required protective current potentiostatically to the current protective current requirement of the storage tank, enables the use of the impressed current anode regardless of the water quality. The external current anode set consists of a titanium electrode that is installed in the storage tank and a potentiostat that is connected to the titanium electrode and storage tank with a connecting cable.
