The comfort water softener Softwater Safety Duo protects water pipes and water heaters from limescale deposits, which inhibit the flow of water and lead to high energy consumption. Appliances and fittings are protected and costly repairs are avoided. The consumption of detergents and cleaning agents is significantly lower with partially softened water than with non-softened water. There are no restrictions regarding the area of application in accordance with DIN 1988 Part 200. The capacity of the water softening system is designed so that the entire water for one to 8 residential units can be partially softened.
The Softwater Safety Duo is a parallel system based on the ion exchange process, which means that twice the flow rate is available. The Softwater Safety Duo has a touchpad control unit, which can be used to conveniently call up and enter all information. If it is connected to the internet, it can also be controlled via the internet using the comfort app. The water softener is disinfected at regular intervals to prevent contamination.
The connection module supplied also includes leakage protection, which permanently monitors the installation as soon as it is activated.
