Cable knife Two-component tool with easy-grip softgrip inlay for optimum handling and thumb recess with hooked blade 8 - 28 mm diameter Tried and tested millions of times for circular and longitudinal cutting, cutting depth individually adjustable via screw so that damage to the inner conductors is excluded. Handles made of wear-resistant polyamide. Both the tips of the internal cable knives and the cutting edges of the attached bow blades are titanium nitride coated. At approx. 500 degrees C, titanium nitride is vapour-deposited onto the cutting blade in the vacuum chamber using the PVD process. Due to the reduced surface structure and the extremely high hardness, excellent sliding properties and a high wear or abrasion resistance are achieved. TiN-coated blades can be used with significantly higher durability and cutting performance.
