- A system for laying gas pipes inside buildings- Fast, flare-free push-fit screw connections with double seal technology- Can be bent by hand and keeps its shape- For surface and flush-mounted installation- Laying under E-pipe and in cavities without ventilation - Area of application: Natural and liquid gas, gases according to DVGW G 260 (gas family 1/2/3)- Continuous corrosion protection of the pipe - Immediately recognisable as a gas pipe- No special tools required. Cut to length using pipe cutter- DVGW Technical data:- Operating pressure: max. 500 mbar- Temperature range: -40 to +60 °C- Pressure resistance: 3 bar- Material: - Corrugated pipe: stainless steel 1.4404 - Jacket: Polyethylene UV-resistant- Fitting: Brass according to EN 12164/65- Seal: Elastomer according to EN 549 VP406- Fire protection class: B-s1-d0Cutting to length and making a connection:Step 1The initial section of the BOAGAZ® corrugated conduit rolled onto the spool must always be cut off with a clean cut before use. Determine the correct pipe length. Use the pipe cutter to cut the BOAGAZ® corrugated pipe to length through the sheathing and stainless steel. The cut must be in the trough of the corrugation. Turn the pipe cutter in one direction and slowly tighten the pressure roller after each turn. Caution: Excessive tightening results in irregular cuts and deformations.Step 2Remove the PE sheathing with the stripping knife so that 4 corrugations remain free so that the connections can be fitted.Step 3Slide the nut over the corrugated pipe and position the two half rings so that one corrugation remains free at the end of the pipe.Step 4Slide the nut over the half rings and tighten as far as it will go using an open-end spanner. After the pressure test, protect the corrugated pipe against corrosion at the transition using protective tape or shrink tubing.Austria only: fittings installed under plaster must be fully protected against corrosion (using tape/shrink tubing).
