The Askoheat heating elements are generally suitable for PV systems, but only depending on the control system installed on site
When used in water containing limescale, limescale-reducing measures or descaling of the heating coil (first after 3 months, then at regular intervals) must be carried out. Limescale can trigger the safety limiter, lead to thermal destruction or pitting corrosion of the heating coil, i.e. the warranty will no longer apply!
