SCHEDEL bath
- and shower tray supports replace conventional brickwork for installing a bath or shower tray. They are moulded parts made from high-quality HDPS® and are therefore not subject to general building inspection. They are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 13163 (Thermal insulation products for buildings
– factory-made products of expanded polystyrene, EPS specification). The basis for the dimensional design and load-bearing capacity of SCHEDEL bath
and shower tray supports is DIN EN 249 and DIN EN 198. The bath or shower tray fits perfectly, as the support is adapted to the corresponding bath
and shower trays made of steel, acrylic or solid surface as a moulded or prefabricated component. The streamlined installation guarantees efficient coordination on site, thereby saving time and money. In addition to the minimal time required for installation, the bath
and shower tray support a surface ready for tiling with no drying times. There is no need for time-consuming and messy brickwork. The material of the
or shower tray support also offers thermal insulation properties. Optionally, additional soundproofing equipment can be installed. The supplied installation accessories ensure system reliability. The installation of washing machine connections is optional. Bath
and shower tray supports, when used in conjunction with an acrylic bath or shower tray and installed correctly, meet the minimum sound insulation requirements of DIN 4109 and VDI 4100 without the need for additional measures (see test reports P-BA 286/2014 for bath supports with acrylic baths and P-BA 287/2014 for bath supports with acrylic shower trays). The installation instructions supplied demonstrate the professional
and DIN-compliant installation of the supports on site.
No special instructions for use are required; no special processing instructions or special tools are required.
