The 3M¿ cable warning tape is an ageing and cold-resistant, particularly stretchable PEw tape for marking cables and lines. It is available as standard with the imprints ¿Achtung Kabel¿ and ¿Achtung Starkstromkabel¿. It is laid in the ground about 40 centimetres above power, gas or water lines. Thanks to its extreme stretchability and eye-catching bright yellow colour, it warns construction machinery operators during earthworks and thus protects cables and lines from damage. The route warning tape is colourfast and permanently legible due to the crystal-clear coating over the print. It is also free of PVC and heavy metals, so it does not harm the surrounding soil during use.
