The 3M¿ 91-AH N series heat shrink connection kit is suitable for all unshielded, non-armoured cables with PVC or XLPE conductor insulation in the low-voltage range up to 0.6/1kV. It can be used both for outdoor applications and for underground installation. It has been developed and approved for compression connectors in accordance with DIN V 47640. The heat-shrinkable joint set consists of a thick-walled, hot-melt adhesive coated outer hose and four or five hot-melt adhesive coated inner hoses. Compression connectors are not included in the scope of delivery. Due to its good resistance to chemicals and alkalis, it ensures a high level of mechanical protection for the connection. It is UV-resistant and offers excellent moisture protection. The halogen-free connection set has good insulating properties and is therefore suitable for use in electrical installations, in industry and by power supply companies. It is easy and quick to install - even in confined spaces thanks to its slim design.
