The 3M¿ HDCW heat shrink repair sleeves are used for quick and safe repair of damaged cable sheaths of low and medium voltage cables. The inside of the sleeve is coated with a hot-melt adhesive to provide a watertight seal on all plastic and metal sheaths. A coating with temperature indicator colour on the outside of the sleeve indicates the end of the shrinking process by a change of colour. A rustproof metal bar serves as a closure, which you can remove after the sleeve has cooled down. The repair sleeve is made of cross-linked polyolefin. It is UV-resistant and halogen-free.
